What’s does a day at the salon look like for you?

Running the salon’s day to day functions… Only 3 months in from opening our doors, we’re looking to hire new Salon professionals every day as well, so hiring plays a big part. In between managing the salon, our employees, and hiring new employees, I find time to cater to our clients as the senior stylist as well!

What do you look for in new employees?

No Divas and No Drama! As a booth rental here at Kami Sori, we love to see talented salon professionals with all kinds of skills that can hold their own...

How and why the Salon Industry?

After working under some of the Valley’s most talented stylist for 6 months as an assistant, it was pretty clear that this was the right path. Now over 5 years into the industry and I’ve found myself in a great position… Rather than sitting behind a desk all day in an office job, finding the perfect style for each client is a great feeling.

How did you stumble upon VjPeace?

I had a friend at L Salon & color group in the Bay Area that was familiar with their products. After receiving numerous samples, it was clear that we wanted to bring them into Kami Sori. Vijai, CEO of VjPeace came to Phoenix to introduce himself. His next visit, was a product knowledge class in the salon and the rest is history.
